From wedding showers to rehearsal dinners, more and more Stateside wedding trends become popular in the UK. The latest one we have seen taking over the world of weddings is the first look photoshoot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At traditional British weddings, the first time the couple see each other is when the ceremony begins. Typically this was the groom seeing the bride as she is \u2018given away\u2019 by her father. This tradition doesn\u2019t quite fit for many couples and for a number of reasons. The notion of being ‘given away’ doesn’t always sit comfortably and many couples now choose to walk down the aisle together.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0And some couples simply prefer to keep that first look moment as something private and special just between the two of them. So for these scenarios and many others, a first look photo shoot is a romantic idea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pretty much what it sounds like \u2013 a first look photoshoot is a photo capturing the first time you and your partner see each other on the big day.
